What started as a surprise weekend in Florence turned into a once-in-a-lifetime moment, made even more unforgettable thanks to an incredible photographer.
My partner had planned everything to perfection and chose the breathtaking Terrazza San Miniato as the setting for his proposal. What I didn’t realize at the time was that two “tourists” standing nearby, seemingly enjoying the view, were actually Giacomo and his wonderful wife Chiara. In complete silence and with so much sensitivity, they captured the proposal without me noticing a thing. That alone felt like pure magic.
Right after the proposal, we had a beautiful photo shoot at and around Terrazza San Miniato. They knew all the most stunning spots, understood exactly where the light would be perfect, and guided us effortlessly through the area. Their calm, warm presence made us feel completely at ease. Chiara was incredibly kind and supportive, gently helping us with poses and making sure everything felt natural and relaxed.
The very next day we already received a first selection of photos from the proposal — and they were absolutely priceless. A few days later, we received the full gallery, and we were completely blown away. The quality, the light, the locations, the composition, the selection, and the sheer number of stunning images… choosing photos for an album is still incredibly difficult because there are just so many favorites.
This was not just a photo session, but a truly unforgettable experience. Thanks to these photos, we will be able to relive this moment for the rest of our lives.
We cannot recommend Giacomo and Chiara highly enough. If you’re planning a secret proposal in Florence — gentlemen, take note — this is absolutely worth it.
We already can’t wait to return to Florence one day with our daughter and our second girl, who is still on the way, to have our growing family captured again in this beautiful place.

We hired Giacomo as the photographer for my proposal in Florence, and saying he was exceptional would honestly be an understatement. From the very beginning, he went above and beyond. He helped me carefully plan and organize every detail of the proposal, which meant so much to me and made the whole experience stress-free.
On the day itself, he was perfectly on time, incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. He made us feel comfortable immediately. He was assisted by his wife, who is just as lovely, warm, and friendly.
And the photos… absolutely stunning. The quality is outstanding. We received them only a few days later, and they exceeded all our expectations. Every picture perfectly captures the emotion of that unforgettable moment.

Conosco Chiara e Giacomo da quando ci siamo trasferiti a Calenzano, da 2014. Quando ancora il negozio non era rinnovato, andavo lì a stampare delle foto. E ancora oggi se ho bisogno delle stampe, le foto, soprattutto quelli dei figli per documenti,mi rivolgo sempre a Chiara. I miei tre figli non hanno mai pianto con Chiara dietro la macchina fotografica quando c'era da sedersi fermi sulla sedia. Quest'anno ci siamo ritornati finalmente da FotoGori per la quarta volta per il servizio fotografico natalizio. È stata l'esperienza bella,proprio come nelle volte precedenti (nel 2017,2018 e 2019). Chiara ci ha messo subito a nostro agio. Lei ha capito come fare con noi. Era molto attenta, NON invadente (riferisco al suo talento di scattare le foto al bimbo di due anni senza pressione,senza troppi sorrisi e risate per ottenere la sua attenzione MA osservando, ascoltando i genitori e scattando delle foto valide). Non dovevamo preoccuparci sulle pose etc, Chiara sapeva bene quali scatti mancavano (madre e figli oppure, padre e figlio,oppure solo due di figli, seduti, in piedi etc). Se devo consigliare un fotografo consiglierei Chiara e Giacomo. La professionalità, empatia e comprensione sono le loro punti veramente forti. Le foto sono venute bellissime.
