A couple portrait in the countryside
We made this same-sex couple portrait in the countryside of Travalle, just outside Florence. Dirt roads, olive trees, wheat fields still green and hay bales on the hills.
Two women in white shirts and jeans, with a lot of laughter: the session was mostly that, laughing, hugging and running through the fields. We alternated colour and black and white, following the afternoon light until sunset.

The path
The path among the olive trees
We started on a dirt road among the olive trees. Hand in hand, then hugging, then laughing with their foreheads together. At one point came a jump for joy in the middle of the path: one of the most genuine photos of the session.
Up close we looked for the details: hands held together, tattoos, smiles.
The field
The wheat field
From the path we stepped into the wheat field, with tall grass and the woods behind. They ran through the field and then sat down in the grass.
Here we also made the widest photos, with the couple small in the landscape, and a few in black and white.

On the hay bale
We finished on a hill of dry grass and hay bales. They sat on a bale, held hands and shared a kiss on the forehead. The last photo is a jump next to the hay bale, with the hills and the sky behind them.
