A vineyard elopement near San Gimignano
This San Gimignano elopement took place at Mormoraia, a wine estate on the hills just outside the town, among vineyards and olive groves, with the medieval towers in view. We photographed the day from the bride at the farmhouse to the last portraits by the pool.

The estate
Mormoraia, outside San Gimignano
Mormoraia is an agriturismo with its own winery on the hills of San Gimignano: vineyards, olive groves and a stone farmhouse, with the towers of the town on the horizon.
The historic centre of San Gimignano, with its medieval towers, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Before the ceremony: the bride at the farmhouse with a bouquet of white roses, and two small vow books on the terracotta, one for him and one for her.
The ceremony
Vows under a floral arch in the vineyard
The ceremony was in the vineyard, under an arch of white flowers and greenery, with the hills of San Gimignano around them.
They read their vows from the books, then the first kiss under the arch.

After the ceremony we photographed them around the estate: on the lawns among the pines and cypresses, by the farmhouse, and with a white goat on the grass.
