The newlyweds back in their wedding clothes after the wedding: the rocks, a boat ride at sunset and a swim in the sea in the wedding dress.
The story
A trash the dress by the sea
A trash the dress is a photoshoot after the wedding, in the wedding dress and suit, somewhere you could not go on the wedding day. We did this one at Marina di Cecina, on the Tuscan coast south of Livorno.
The couple put their wedding clothes back on, climbed onto the rocks, took a boat ride at sunset and finally walked into the sea, fully dressed. We covered it all with photos and the drone, from the afternoon until the last light.

On the breakwater
We started on the breakwater by the marina, with a calm sea and a clear afternoon sky. The bride climbed onto the rocks and the wind did the rest, lifting the skirt of her dress over the sea.
Some photos are in black and white, with the couple small on top of the rocks.
The boat
A boat ride at sunset
From the Marina di Cecina harbour we went out to sea on a boat decorated with white flowers and roses. The groom at the wheel, ring on his finger, the bride sitting at the bow.
With the drone we followed the boat from above, on the blue sea, and then up close as the sun went down to the horizon.

The sea
In the sea at sunset
Back on shore, the couple walked along the beach, took each other’s hands and ran into the water, wedding dress and all. The last photos are in the sea: him lifting her, their silhouettes against the pink sky and, from above, the bride on the shore with her white dress on the dark sand.
